Abstract

The article analyzes the destruction of fortified and unfortified shores of water bodies in Belarus, damage and deformation of hydro-technical structures on reservoirs and ponds. The most common destruction and damage are identified, and possible emergencies due to these destructions and damage are noted. It is proposed to use both ground-based photography and photography from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for operational monitoring of the state of shores and hydro-technical structures. It is indicated which destruction and damage can be identified from UAV images, and which require research on the ground.

Abstract

As a result of the conducted experiments, standards for the design mode of drip irrigation of onions on sod-podzolic loamy soils in the conditions of the north-eastern hydrological and climatic zone of the Republic of Belarus were developed. Design irrigation rates and minimum inter-irrigation intervals for onions for years with different moisture supply and also the optimal water mode of sod-podzolic loamy soil during cultivation of this crop were determined.

Abstract

The reasons for the decrease in drainage performance in the presence of iron compounds in groundwater, which cause the drying of pipes and protective and filtering materials, are analyzed. The physicochemical process of arching on pottery and plastic pipes and the data of studies at pilot production sites of drainage in various soil and soil conditions for more than ten years of operation are presented. There are some measures that slow down the process of suffocation, in particular, the use of organic filters, including straw filters. Data are given on the decrease in the efficiency of drainage due to the accumulation of up to 50 % of the sum of all causes. The degree of risk of exposure to pH and contents Fe2+ in groundwater. It is recommended to carefully study the soil and soil conditions and the content of Fe2+ in the water when surveying at sites for reconstruction in order to make an informed decision on the method of drainage or open network.

Abstract

As a result of the experiments, it was determined that drip irrigation of vegetables on sod-podzolic loamy soils provides an increase in yield, while maintaining soil moisture in the 0–30 cm layer throughout the growing season within 80-100% of the HB, compared to natural moisture: onions – 28.66 t / ha (179.8%), radishes (autumn sowing) – 13.7 t / ha (65 %), semi-headed lettuce - 6.6 t / ha (217.3 %), radishes (autumn sowing) – 10.8 t / ha (60.7%). Drip irrigation of vegetables ensures stable high yields and net income in the amount of: onions 44.2 t/ha (profit – 12 778.97 rubles/ha, profitability – 110.8 %), radishes (spring sowing) – 34.77 t/ha (profit – 14 818.49 rubles/ha, profitability – 74.3 %), lettuce – 8.68 t/ha (profit – 66 990.89 rubles/ha, profitability – 219.1 %), radishes (autumn sowing) – 28.59 t/ha (profit – 11 196.15 rubles/ ha, profitability – 64.4 %).

Abstract

The process of inspecting anti-mudflow structures, namely, mudslides of engineering protection combs after the completion of construction work as part of geotechnical monitoring describes. The results of calculating the maximum flow rate of mudflow which amounted to 38.0 m3/s are given. Currently, the facility is in working order and does not require the development of additional strengthening measures.
